Under the Dinosaur Topiary
The Stegosaurus climber on the Primary playground was transformed into a dinosaur topiary early in the school year. Underneath the Stegosaurus belly, there is a paleontology pit for archeological digs. The elementary extended day children made plaster trilobites, ammonites, and megalodon shark teeth for the Primary children to discover in the dig site. Middle School Learns about Winter Crops & Food Storage
The farmers from Cherry Valley Co-Op visited the Middle School students to talk about growing seasons in New Jersey, cold-tolerant crops, and food storage for winter months, including canning, freezing, fermenting, and brining.
